Nomenus Quarterly #11 online now

A selection of works featured in Nomenus #11

A BLOG is excited to announce the release of Nomenus Quarterly #11 – the latest edition in an enriched, comprehensive series by Erik Madigan Heck that crosses between cultural spheres, the printed word and today’s reality of internet publishing.

Erik’s work as a photographer, publisher and cultural theorist has intertwined significantly with the world of ‘A’ in 2010, as can be seen in Giambattista Valli’s A#10 that hit stores earlier this month. Featuring over thirty pages of Erik’s photography and his essay on “Staged Beauty”, it is a first foray into printed collaboration together and a testament to our shared vision.

Nomenus Quarterly #11 dives head-first into many of the contemporary art world’s greatest minds; divulging works, speeches and essays from the likes of Anselm Kiefer, John Baldessari, Sigmar Polke & Lawrence Weiner. From the fashion world comes an exclusive new portfolio of images of Rodarte’s spring summer 2011 collection.

Essays included are a retrospective glance at Sigmar Polke by George Pitts, as well as a reprinting of Anselm Kiefer’s acceptance speech for the Peace Prize of the German Book Trade, Paulskirche, Frankfurt am Main, October 19, 2008, translated by Angelika Fremd.

Erik Madigan Heck has produced exclusive images for Valentino, Moncler Gamme Rouge, Lancôme & Longchamp with Giambattista Valli for A#10.
