On the occasion of a new book, record and film, New York-based photographic artist and poet Mark Borthwick will be present at a special event in Paris on Monday evening, performing excerpts from his latest works.

Mark’s analog photography, his acoustic musical performance and his signature style of abstract poetry form a cohesive body of work that never ceases to delight; in an honest, pure tale of very personal, human discovery.

Through his photography – be it fashion, landscapes, portraiture – Mark never suggests a struggle for perfection, but rather celebrates beauty in the small imperfections of reality.

On Monday 23rd of May at Ofr bookshop in the Marais district, Mark will be joined in concert by French songstress Mai for an intimate concert (under the guise of his musical pseudonym ‘Will Shine’), as well as a screening of his latest film “poet’tree”.
