Ter et Bantine Spring Summer 2011, Milan

“Manuela Arcari, the longtime designer of the brand Ter et Bantine , knows her woman is urban and elegant. Hers is a collection of easy pieces in wardrobe-friendly colors like sand, slate ivory and navy. Jackets come in cocooning boxy shapes and trousers are cut large, with wide pleats. There was a particularly nice pairing of city shorts worn with apron-front dresses that left the back exposed while the origami folds of a backpack or tote added a structural element. And, as luck would have it, fashion has come around again to the minimalist style that Ter et Bantine has been faithful to all these years.”
