“my little demon follows me with joy

she lays still, a little baby boy

and in her room surrounds herself with

spirits cheering on

an endless spirit party

caverning til dawn

a ring of white houses surrounds her room

a string of black blouses encases her bosom

my hands find themselves

sucking the life from her

and her skin begins to cling

tightly to her skull

she has a group of black mammal parts

that sleep on her bed when she gets rest

the rhythm of their breathing

is the beat of all our acts

and the odor they give off

is the smell of whites + blacks

she makes no sense

and i will always be

defenseless in her presence

x”
