A#4 features a collaboration between Jun Takahashi and Tokyo-based multimedia artist Madsaki, in which the pair created large scale abstract paintings exploring the fusion of the natural and alien concepts in the world of UNDERCOVER. The series of canvases stand up to 3 metres tall, and contain rich visual imagery of mythical creatures, lunar landscapes and cartoon characters. The bizarre composition of figures in the paintings references disparate elements such as fast food and consumer culture, sci-fi, manga and anatomical drawings. The paintings can now be found gracing the walls of Jun Takahashi’s Tokyo studio.
