<p>The crushingly truthful words of American writer and poet Richard Brautigan (1935-1984), found on the wall of Haider Ackermann&#8217;s memoboard.</p>
<p>Brautigan received critical acclaim for his beautiful landmark novel &#8216;Trout Fishing in America&#8217; (1967), an abstract, elliptical story that some say epitomises the youth movement of the 1960s. He died of a self-inflicted bullet wound to the head in October of 1984. He will be remembered</p>
